Your First Visit to our Irvine Chiropractic Practice

The moment a patient steps into our office is when their therapy begins. With a warm and caring staff to greet them, the patient feels welcomed and taken care of even before the doctor sees them.

Of course there will be some forms to fill out, but we like to refer to that as paper “fun”.

The consultation with the doctor is thorough and covers all aspects of their health and how it can affect them. This is followed up with a complete examination including neurologic, orthopedic and chiropractic tests. If you have previous records that would be helpful for Dr. Rawlings, please bring those with you. The records we tend to look for most would be any x-ray films or reports and any MRI and CAT scan reports.

At the completion of this visit, the patient is given a follow up appointment with the doctor so that their exam and x-ray (if any were taken) findings can be thoroughly explained to them. Plenty of time is set aside for this appointment so all of the patient’s concerns can be addressed and their questions asked.

Since most patients come to us with complex issues, Dr. Rawlings will spend a considerable amount of time evaluating your case. Due to the time needed for such a review, treatment may not begin the first day. Of course, depending on the situation, exceptions might be made for emergency cases.
